About MeMy love of photography can be found early on in my life next to my desire to remember every moment and person who has touched my life. I love to capture a moment and hold on to it forever. This passion for memories, life and the wonders of nature powers my love of photography.
I was given my first camera in 7th grade to take pictures of my friends, something I continue to drive my friends and husband crazy with. My enjoyment grew with a black & white photography class in High School; the darkroom quickly became my 2nd home. Following high school I attended Shepherd University where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Digital Imaging. After working for a year I returned to school and earned a Bachelor of Science in Interactive Digital Media from James Madison University.
I began professionally taking pictures in 2002 starting with senior portraits and have since worked photographing children, families, pets and baby portraits, along with weddings and events. My knowledge of graphics and web design has allowed me to expand my creativity and experiences by creating website and professional CD and DVD covers along with other business needs. I enjoy the fun and challenges that accompany each new job and unique subject.
